The transportation industry
In recent years the transport sector has been experiencing significant development in many areas. Public transportation has experienced a shift from solely providing transportation between two destinations to providing transportation between multiple destinations.

Speed is a keyword.Today a strong connection in public
transportation is vital, but public transport must also be able to
offer much more than speed and a strng connection i.e. customers
expect high service and many offerings such as internet on both
trains and buses. Customers also demand new sorts of experiences,
which mean that companies have to be creative and moreover be
listening to their customers e.g. Movia offers love seats in their
buses!
Many airlines are pressured in the private sector and there has
been a drift towards cheap fares at the exspense of high service.
What has happenned is that customers only pay for a standard
service, which is travelling between two destinations, instead of
combining it with a good experience. In return customers now have
to pay fees for everything from luggage to toilet visit on board
the aircraft.
